But it can also be super hard these days. We all know how hard it is to get a job in college. You barely have experience so it’s hard to get people to even look at your resume. But then even if you do get the job, it’s hard to make time for it with your busy college schedule!
And I know how you feel. I was one of those people always struggling to make more money in college. I felt like I could barely afford anything which made me never able to do much. It was super stressful having to miss out on fun with friends. Miss out on getting new items I wanted. Miss out on even affording good food.
But it does not have to be that way at all. You can def make way more money in college even if you don’t have an actual job.
That’s why I made this post to go through 35+ ways to make money on the side in college to make it easy for you to get make that extra side cash and afford the things you actually want! I hope you find all of these helpful and more!

And we all know there’s tons of students in class who just sit there and don’t even pay attention. They goof off and then scramble when it’s time to study for the exam. Or maybe they’re just people who have a hard time hearing what the professor has to say. There’s some professors who have really strong accents.
Bottom line, there are tons of people who would love to get your good class notes. And would def pay for them. No you won’t get rich from this but you can def make some nice side cash.
Sometimes you can even get official jobs like this through your school!
2. Give people rides around campus
This is something you can only do if you have a car. But if you do happen to have a car in college, you can def use it to make some nice side cash by giving people rides around campus.
This can be other students or even just random strangers. With apps like Lyft or Uber, you just sign up and then wait for people to request a ride. Usually around college campuses you will get tons of requests from people needing to get around.
It may seem a little bit weird to be driving random people around. But if you have extra time and you’re not doing anything anyway, why not! This could def be a way for how to make money on the side in college.
> Income Potential: $300 per month

And this really doesn’t have to be hard. Again, this would be a subject you know and that you’re already good at. Then you just help them learn what they’re struggling with. You would be surprised how many students on campus need help with different subjects. Sometimes it’s just easier to learn something from another student vs an old professor.
You can usually find officials jobs for this on campus. Or you can go freelance and pitch your talents online or to other students on campus. You won’t become a millionaire from this or anything but you can def make good money on the side!
4. Sell your old clothes online
This is one pretty much anyone can do. We all have old clothes lying around. Maybe stuff we don’t wear anymore. Stuff that doesn’t fit us. Or just clothes we’re tired of. Instead of letting that all go to waste, you can sell them online and make tons of money from it!
With sites like Poshmark, you can set up your own online store. Then just post your clothes on there and whenever someone buys something from your closet, you make easy money! And people go on here to buy clothes all the time. Stuff that sold out in stores. Stuff from brands that went out of business. I even buy stuff on there myself sometimes!
Bottom line, there will def be tons of people out there who would wanna buy your clothes. It makes way more sense to give them clothes they want and get your money back to buy clothes you actually want. It’s a win win! This is def a way for how to make money on the side in college.

A lot of times we don’t even use the textbooks anyway. Maybe all the stuff we learn is on the slides. Or you can just guess from multiple choice. Either way we still have to spend tons of money to buy the huge heavy textbooks anyway. This can be hundreds of dollars. Which is insane for something you barely use.
